Kampung Darat Nasi Lemak

There is a Malay stall selling nasi lemak and roti canai near UUM. We called it as Kampung Darat nasi lemak. I know the stall since I am semester 1 in uum. But i have never been there. People love to have breakfast there as I know from my friends and seniors.
Recently, my senior called my friends and I for breakfast there. But he mentioned to be early there so that the food is still available.
Hence, we woke up on 6am and heading there. Almost 1 or 2km from UUM, we arrived the stall. There is full of people!
What caught my attention is there are a lot of students from UUM no matter Malay, Chinese and Indian. It was so amazing for me. There are long queue, a lot of people and we are hardly to find seat to settle down.
The taste of nasi lemak is quite ok but not super duper tasty. It just ordinary nasi lemak plus you can add other side dishes on it as well. I feel the price is quite affordable. The roti canai is really normal in taste but still a lot of people queue for it. I really do not know why.
But then, I have a great breakfast there as well.

Winter Solstice

As usual for Chinese, We celebrate Winter Solstice every year. It is our Chinese traditional festive that indicate reunion. This year, I may not celebrate with family because im having exam here.
Hence, I celebrate with my hostel friends. We boiled the "tang yuan" and eat it. It is good to have a group of buddies that celebrate together. It can eliminate homesick away. We have fun and enjoyed on the night. Weather is getting cold but festive make us reunion and warmth our heart~

Selfie Coffee Cafe

Guess what that? Penang Island have just opened up a special cafe for us to hang out there.
It is very interesting that you will have your photo on the top of coffee bubble! It is amazing and attractive. The cafe is designed simple but it is mesmerizing. You can order the coffee by taking a selfie and let the coffee maker specially made you the coffee. The price is quite affordable as the technology is applied.

It is wonderful especially for couple to create new memories here in the romantic environment of this cafe. We enjoyed so much there and have a good time!

Chung Ling Alumni Annual Dinner

This year as usual, there will be a dinner between Kedah & Perlis Chung Ling Alumni Association. This year is 52nd anniversary for this annual dinner. This dinner is for those who study in SMJK Chung Ling during secondary school as a platform to gather up and sharing session. As I am the representative from University Utara Malaysia as a Chung Ling student to attend this dinner with other friends. This dinner is held in Alor Setar. Also, there are many senior that already old yet young heart to guide us and share with us their career life and also past secondary school life. They are all currently contribute to society and some are retired. We also managed to meet with University Malaysia Perlis's Chung Ling students and gather together. Although we are now in university life, but we still not forget to contribute and involved in secondary school movements. Really appreciate that we have a platform like this to know each other more. Seniors also encourage we youngster to contribute to society in the future but not forget to join this association to contribute to secondary school Chung Ling. We are proud to be Chung Ling student as this association not only in Malaysia but also is worldwide!

Big snake

After event and there will be final exam waiting for me. But I really feel I need a time to rest myself and unwind. Is not an excuse but I really feel to skip class and rest in my room. But now I skip class to back hometown Penang to unwind myself. And guess what? I just back to my home for second day, a big long snake appeared behind my house.

My neighbour uncle immediately find a helping hand to catch the big snake. The uncle told us it is heavy and they have to alert to avoid the snake to escape. Many neighbours come here and took photos but do nothing. I feel this is not right. I knew this is a trend as I myself also go to take photo and post to Facebook. But some of them even walk beside the snake and put thumb up to take a photo. What I am trying to say is please do not act like you are catching the snake. That 2 uncles are very serious holding the snake and worry it will escape but you guys still play the fool near the snake. It is very dangerous and childish. Just sharing my heart feeling.

Kachi Festival Celebration Party

After event, we do have a celebration dinner as an appreciation of all committee members contribution. We made the dinner at Alor Setar "CrossOver".
In the dinner, all people are glad and enjoyed themselves. Although the place is not so strategic for us. But most of them find the way to enjoy.

This brunch of good people, farewell. And thank for this event of Kachi Festival for giving me this chance to know you guys! We are the best! We are a team!
Kachi Festival will be the prove of our friendship!

Kachi Festival 2014

Kachi Festival is an event organized by student in DPP SME Bank and DPP Bank Rakyat. This event is a concert that performed by student in University Utara Malaysia and outside professional performers. The aim is to strengthen the bond of student from different races so that we understand more about each other culture. This event has started to prepare from September 2014 and i hold the position of Assistant director. I do have a lot of great people as my team partner as committees.

As the progress is getting smooth, we feel motivated to succeed the event. Although sometimes we do have some argue but all we want is the best event!
Event is on 6 December 2014 and we do your best as an organizer committee.

And finally our event is ended successfully! All the audience are enjoyed with so much fun. And we took photo as a memories for this event.

24 Festive Drums

I am a drummer for Chinese 24 Festive Drums in University Utara Malaysia. I joined this club since I am semester 1. It is fun yet hard to be a Festive Drum drummer. We drummer need to practise drum under hot sun because there is no place for us to practise in campus. We also take the opportunity to perform in campus or outside campus. Our performance get a lot of good feedback from audience as it is energetic and motivated. Some events in campus invite our drum team to perform as an open ceremony for the particular event.
This year our drum team also take the biggest challenge ever to organise drum concert in UUM biggest hall, Dewan MAS. Our drum concert held smoothly and successfully. We managed to attract 1000 audiences to come support our concert. After this event, our drum team managed to earn some money to buy new drum for performance and practise use. I love drum as it can train us to be discipline and teamwork. And also thank my parents from Butterworth to UUM to support my performance.
